Career Fair is an annual event that is held in Universiti Sains Malaysia Engineering Campus which involves both local and international companies. During this career fair there will be more than 70 companies’ exhibitions, 20 slots of career talks and also numerous interview sessions by the companies.

Participating career fair is very beneficial as the participants can gain an early exposure and first-hand experience before they step into the working space after their final year. Besides, students can also get to know about current market demand, the employer’s criteria search by the employee in the related working fields and etc.

On top of that, our IT department has also creates a web apps http://careerfair.eng.usm.my/app/ as a platform for the jobseekers to get in contact with the employees on their own. The web apps allow the companies to post they job vacancies and the requirement for recruitment, and at the same time, provide all relevant information of the employers’ company for the students to decide on the job they desired. The students that are interested can then send their resumes online to the companies and will be informed of the time slots for them to attend the interview sessions which are held during the two event days.
